BALI / INDONESIA
8th – 9th September 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
So yesterday the 8th we set off early chasing more swell and clean conditions, and when wave height is down in the tiny range here on the Southern end of Bali, that means you need to drive to get it. setting off at 5.30am and arriving at 7.30am to find some super clean and fun looking head to double head high waves, stoked. But only 10 minutes into our sess one of my friends caught a long one wave and when he went to push off the bottom it ended up with a nice long slash on his foot. So we just hung out for another hour before getting him back home and to the Dr for his piece of mind. In the end it wasn’t as bad as it looked and he’ll be back in the water in another day or two.
Today the 9th and knowing that the waves were going to be at their very worst today we still managed to find a couple of small but fun sized waist to head high ones over on the East Coast before the wind got too strong.
Weather wise it’s been pretty good today and just what you’d hope to have if you were here on holidays.
I’ve also loaded a new G-Land up date plus our Surf Fitness Guru Mr Clive Rodell has also sent us through another very interesting feature. Especially worth a read if your a mature aged surfer, so check it out.
That’s me for now I need to get down the beach for a sun set surf check and cold beer because fingers crossed we should see a nice bump in wave height around Bali by tomorrow morning. Make sure you stay tuned here to the original Bali surf report website for more news and up dates through out the day tomorrow.
Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop upo at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music.
