BALI / INDONESIA
11th October 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
On the morning of the 11th with wave height predicted to take another dive in size we decided on heading down to Indonesia’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Arriving at 7.30am to find some short but sweet 2-4 footers hitting the Main Peak and Temple sections on the rising tide. Surfing conditions at the time were also super slick and glassy clean that lasted through until maybe 10.00am when the wind shifted more to the South. After the tide peaked and started to run back out we started to see some bigger “freak” sets hitting the double head high class on the Peak. And as we packed up 2 hrs into the run out tide it looked like the Racetrack was going to start breaking. But the wind had swung and the crowd at Uluwatu was gearing up as it does these days.
Weather wise it wazs a great day to be in Bali, pretty much constant sunshine with just a few clouds drifting through from time to time.
