BALI / INDONESIA
14th October 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
This morning we knew wave height was going to be bumping on the morning incoming tide so we headed South back to Uluwatu. Arriving around 7.15am to find head to over head high waves 3-4ft breaking on the Main Peak and Racetrack sections, it was still a touch low for Temples at the time. But as the tide kept flowing in wave height also kept creeping up until there were some very solid double head to double head high plus sets hitting the Main Peak. The early A.M. numbers were pretty good but by 9.30am it was all over crowd wise and one of the biggest packs I’ve ever seen sitting up at Temples. But it was another case of the early bird getting the worms this morning with clean and glassy surfing conditions through until crowd o’clock.
Weather wise it was nice and sunny early but we did get some murky over cast cloud settle over us for awhile there. Right now at 2.00pm the temperature is still a very warm 31 degrees’s Celsius, Humidity is 68% and UV index at 9. Wind direction is now SE-SSE with gusts up to 19km/h.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to slightly drop off through out the day with morning light and variable early morning wind.
