BALI / INDONESIA
29th – 30th November 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 29th and we were on a serious search for some waves that lead us all the way back up the coast to you know where. Arriving after 1hr and 45min drive to find super clean and glassy conditions with wave height in the chest to slightly over head high class. Only around 15 surfers in the water which was a lot less than I thought there would have been with the pretty well non existent waves just about everywhere else.
Today the 30th and just for the ease of a sand bottomed wave we took a run up to Canggu as the tide was just starting to run in. As it shows in these current photos wave height was only in the waist to head high range at best. But if you were a charging grom it would have been fairly solid and not too mention over head. Surfing conditions were clean at first before the wind switched to the SSW by 9.00am. Crowd wise it was a bit silly and there were a few collisions and a lot more near miss’s.
Weather wise it’s been a warm old Saturday here on the holiday island and still just showing blue sky now at 5.10pm.
We are going for another surf in the morning so keep an eye on our Twitter feed for more news and up dates through out the morning.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying to expect more of the same again before we start to see a new swell showing up on Monday (fingers crossed anyway right)
Anyone bringing a camera to Bali drop me a line if you want to publish any of your shots here on the baliwaves. email link here
I’ve also been told to let all the surfer / fishermen tuning in that our Bali sport fishing scene is really starting to heat up with some excellent catches of GT’s and Spaniards. Email us for more information
Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop up at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music. Contact us for more information email link here
