BALI / INDONESIA
2nd – 3rd Nov 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright so yesterday the 2nd and my morning surf check on the Outer reefs (Bali Morning Surf & Weather Video Report) was showing waves in the 2-4ft class breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The best conditions were early before the wind shifted more to the WNW. It wasn’t until early afternoon that it shifted right around to the SSE-S and cleaned up again.
Today the 3rd and as it shows in our latest photo gallery wave height was a comfortable head to well over head high where we were this morning. The low tide had hardly any surfers in the water and some nice little peelers on the end section of the reef to be had. As the tide filled in so did the crowd and it was around 11.15am the wind shifted from WNW around to the SSE-S and cleaned up the waves.
Weather wise we did get some over night rain but it had cleared away by the time we were out on the road leaving behind a mostly overcast type of day. Which was a nice change after a super hot and sultry week. It looks like we might get a few more much needed drops of rain tonight fingers crossed.
Ok tomorrow should be interesting where we are planning on surfing so stay tuned for our morning surf and weather video report ok.
Our resident Surf Fitness Guru Mr Clive Rodell has also sent us another informative article and well worth a read if you want to stay surf fit. Check it out down the page.
Good Value Tip, Right now here in Bali and right across Indonesia it’s Mango season and if you know where to shop for fresh fruit you will buy these delicious morsels for around Rp10,000 – 15,000 per kilogram. It’s Mango fever time at my place I tell ya
