Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so we had another huge day yesterday and for the sake of finding the best waves we took a run up the West Coast to another one of our favorite locations and managed to score some very pretty waves. It was only in the head high class but clean as can be and not too many surfers about which made the long drive and even longer drive home bearable. Do to some un seen traffic phenomena it took us 4hrs to get back home.
This morning the 8th and as it shows in our latest photo gallery we were a bit closer to home at the veer popular location of Canggu. Wave height had a bit of a bump over night and there were some very fun looking chest to over head high waves breaking on all 3 of the main breaks of the Gu from Echo reef across to the Sandbar and further West to the Pererenan river mouth. Clean off shore wind early that held through until around 9.00am before switching to the West by 9.30am. Crowd wise it wasn’t as bad as it can get in this area but there was some hot surfing talent in the water through the morning session and not many waves were going to waste.
Weather wise it’s been another hot and sunny Summers day here on the holiday island, as you would expect in Bali right.

I’ve also got a stack of video footage to edit up from Keramas and today at Canggu so as soon as I get a break from surfing I’ll throw another 3-4 min video together for ya’s.
