BALI / INDONESIA
1st – 2nd December 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Hey folks Yesterday the 1st and we were hard pressed to find and decent sized waves. So we ended up back down at Uluwatu where wave height was only in the 2-3ft range. It was clean and glassy early until around 9.00AM when the wind switched to the South. As can also be expected with the swells down it was pretty crazy out in the water with learners on long boards going off.
Today the 2nd and it was a whole different ball game with a total different outcome. We were hoping to see a bump in wave height where we headed but were not quite prepared to find double to almost triple head high waves rolling through. So we all got caught out with our short boards but that wasn’t really that much to deal with. It was just so nice to see some solid waves with clean and glassy conditions. Crowd wise the most we had in the line up with us was 6 surfers.
Weather wise we have had a return back to hot and sultry conditions with pretty well just nothing but blue sky and a midday temp of around 34 degree’s Celsius.
Ok crew that’s all I’ve got in me for now but we will be heading back out on the wave hunt again tomorrow so stay tuned here to the original Bali surf report website (since 1999) and we will fill ya’s in through our Twitter feed as it happens.
Anyone bringing a camera to Bali drop me a line if you want to publish any of your shots here on the baliwaves. email link here
I’ve also been told to let all the surfer / fishermen tuning in that our Bali sport fishing scene is really starting to heat up with some excellent catches of GT’s and Spaniards. Email us for more information
Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop up at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music. Contact us for more information email link here
