BALI / INDONESIA
5th – 6th December 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Yesterday the 5th and as per our Bali Morning Surf n Weather Video Report I loaded into the Twitter feed on baliwaves. There were some waves to be had with clean and glassy conditions early and around 2-4ft of swell showing along our West Coast. Later around midday the wind did switch around to the ESE-SE to blow off shore from Kuta Reef down to Uluwatu and a nice little early Christmas present for the lucky surfers here in Bali.
This morning the 6th and with similar surfing conditions but maybe a touch smaller sized waves we thought we’d hit the beach break. As it shows in these latest photos on baliwaves it was pumping fun sized waves in the chest to slightly over head high sector with clean off shore wind out of the NE. It wasn’t too bad crowd wise early but by 9.00am it was getting a little bit crazy, by that time the wind had also started to puff up out of the West. It wasn’t until midday that it again swung to the SSE-SE.
Weather wise it’s been hot with some more hot thrown in and then hot through the afternoon and just starting to lose some heat now at 5.50am. I think we can expect it to be hot again tomorrow.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying to expect similar sized waves but maybe just a tad smaller and a slightly shorter period. Wind direction is predicted to be again coming lightly out of the Eastern quad through the morning before strengthening up through the afternoon.
Ok friends of Bali that’s us for today but we do have a plan to chase some more waves again tomorrow so stay tuned for our morning surf and weather video up date.
Ok so here we are again quickly moving into the month of December, so fast hey.
