BALI / INDONESIA / AUSTRALIA
12th January 2020
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright as you can see I’m still off island but hopefully this week will see me out and I’ll ready to make the jump. I tell ya’s it’s been great to catch up with my dear old Mum and Family but it’s been way out of the norm for me with all the Dr tests but we are just about there and more than ready for some waves again.
Here’a another handful of frame grabs from Kadek’s last run up to Canggu early in the New Year. The last news I heard was that there are still some waves on Bali. The wind has been dedicated to the WSW over the last couple of days and the West Coast pretty well out of the wave chasing equation. Looking at the sat charts they are showing a tropical Cyclone about to start forming off the top of Western Australia so I don’t think that’s going to be helping the wind patterns for Indo until she blow’s out in the Indian.
Ok crew I’m on top of things and looking forward to be back with my family in Bali. So hang in there a bit longer and we’ll get things back to normal again.
Don’t forget if your looking for any surfing supplies make sure you drop into the Echo Beach Boardriders mega surf shop up at Canggu.
Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music. Contact us for more information email link here
