BALI / INDONESIA
14th February 2020
Welcome surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Selamat Hari Raya Sugihan Bali
Hello everyone, we had some solid set waves (for the Gu) hitting the sandbar this morning just as the tide was starting to push back in. The set waves were easily in the double head high class and the wind was a nice clean off shore N-NNE. Not a lot of surfers in the water while conditions were at there best but the few that were managed to get some sick ones. It was around 9.30am that the wind started to swing on shore to the WSW-W. While now at 4.00pm it’s more like S-SSE.
Weather wise it’s been perfect for anyone here on holiday, as you’d expect it to be here in Bali. Light early morning wind and loads of blue sky.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling wave height to fade just a touch through out the day. Light and variable wind for pretty much most of the day.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Bali, –1US$=Rp13,650 –1AU$=Rp9,100 Always beware of “money ex-changer” offering a bogus high exchange rate !
Just for laughs I think the virus is spreading… this morning there were zombies everywhere hehehe.
