BALI SURF & WEATHER REPORT
23rd February 2020
Hello surfers (KEEP READING BELOW) and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok this morning I was still hoping to see a few waves left over from our last swell. So I was happy to even find some chest to head high waves with clean off shore wind over on the East side. As you can imagine it was a grommets surf paradise with those kind of conditions and no shortage of frothing grommets, good to see a few older frothers out there as well.
It was a super clear and clean morning over on the East Coast with perfect views of Mt Agung here on Bali. In fact I could see all the way past Nusa Lembongan to Cenningan, even the mountains of Lombok were visible today.
Weather wise it’s been a beautiful Sunday so far here on the island of the God’s. Right now at 2.15pm there’s pretty well nothing but blue sky our my window. Wind direction has turned more to the WSW around the 7-11knot mark.
Looking further out there is a small Tropical Depression just about to spin out of the picture down under Indonesia and has been a bit of a swell blocker. Then around the 29th another real TC looks like starting to develop close to the coast of NW Australia.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is showing slightly smaller waves for us but there should still be something to surf if you know where to look. Expect the wind to be lighter out of the NW early before tendind more West by late morning
We are very happy to welcome aboard the baliwaves to our new friends at the luxurious Manduna Resort on the island of Rote. For a limited time we will be offering some discount to you surfers.
