BALI SURF & WEATHER REPORT
5th – 6th March 2020
Hello surfers (KEEP READING BELOW) and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Yesterday the 5th and I did have intentions of going out and try to shoot you some half decent photos if possible. But as it turned out the wind kicked in pretty early out of the West so pffft I thought and put it off till today. But I did hear that yesterday afternoon over on the East Coast the wind backed off around 4.30 and there were a few fun waves to be had. It was around 9.30am that the wind turned on shore out of the W-WSW.
Today the 6th and even though I knew it was going to be small (the waves) I still loaded the car and headed over to the East Coast. As it shows in this latest photo gallery wave height was till only in the 2-2ft+ class it was still nice and shapely. Much better suited to the grommets and it was groms from Japan making up the crowd out there today. Great to see them here in Bali and showing support to the island and scoring some waves in the process.
Weather wise it’s been a bit like Melbourne today with almost four seasons in the one day. Right now at 4.19pm its light overcast and the wind fresh out of the W-WSW
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying more small waves and more NW-WSW wind. Early morning will be the optimum time to hit it if your here and your keen. Expect that crappy W-WSW to kick in around mid morning.
