BALI SURF & WEATHER REPORT
7th – 8th March 2020
Hello surfers (KEEP READING BELOW) and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Well it’s been a busy weekend for me, no photos due to me needing to get a few waves in and still no assistant as yet. As it shows in the hand full of photos on today’s report yesterday the 7th, we got fairly lucky I think. With hardly any swell hitting Bali I knew this place would be a good chance to get a few waves with out crowds. As it was we did score a stack of waves, even though it was only head high it was so much fun taking turns, wave for wave.
With even weaker conditions for today we had no choice except to take another run back up the coast. But this time we were crushed to find an over flowing car park full of European surf school students armed with long boards. But even though there was a small hour or so window when some waves did come through on the change of shifts, sort of.
Weather wise up the coast the water was surprisingly crystal clear and no rain while we were on the scene. Right now here in South Kuta at 4.35pm the sky is starting to get dark and rain is on the cards before sun down I reckon. Hopefully it won’t spoil anyone’s “sun set drinks” even though there is no sun, it’s still a Bali tradition.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast isn’t looking much better with a 5 -6 second period. But I guess it’ll come down to the morning surf check visual right.
ATTENTION Keramas Boardriders Club will be running their club contest on the 15th of this month and would be stoked I’m sure if anyone could help contribute to the prize list in anyway. Even come over and support the boys on the day. Contact us here
