Hello Bali people and we hope your week has got off a good start so far. Here in Bali yesterday the 4th it was absolutely cranking out perfect waves over on the Eastern side of the island. As it shows in latest photo feast we showed up over there just as the tide was starting to roll in enough to cover the reef. Only 6 surfers on arrival and my crew couldn’t get out there quick enough. Surfing conditions stayed clean and glassy right through the morning session with the crowd peaking at maybe 25 plus or minus. Weather wise yesterday it was pretty stable with loads of blue sky.
Today the 5th and more light and variable wind again so we made our way back over to the East side of the island. Why did have alternate plans today but on arrival at our Primary location at 7.15am it just wasn’t turning us on enough to make the effort. Already 15-20 surfers in the water and the wind already blowing cross shore.
So from there we headed further North to Keramas. Wave height had dropped off quite a lot from yesterdays’ solid 3-5ft, down to a more fun sized 2-4ft. Surfing conditions at Keramas were clean and glassy with the wind flicking around a bit. Low numbers in the water that gradually increased to around 23 by 10.00am.
Weather wise today it was back to more cloud than blue sky that eventually turned into rain. Right now at 3.10pm the sky is mostly blue again here in South Kuta. With a temp of 29C and the Humidity at 83%. The wind is now howling off shore out of the ESE at 20knot+.
The next tide will be a 0.4 @ 7.45pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to be pretty much the same as today, maybe down a touch and even stronger off shore E-ESE wind. I think we will really have to wait and see for ourselves on the wave height tomorrow though. Stay tuned for our morning surf and weather video report on Facebook.
