This morning the 19th it was a nice surprise to see a little blue sky and not just the rain filled clouds of yesterday. at 5.30am there was also no wind present which made the decision to head over to the East coast just that little easier. So yeah, this is where today’s photo gallery was shot. Arriving on location somewhere around 7.15am to find maybe 8-10 surfers in the water while wave height had bumped into a nice 3-5ft, head to double head high. But there was a bit of color in the water and it stunk of fresh rain water mixed with the ocean. If you know what I mean.
We are pretty much in the middle of the moon phase right now so there isn’t much tide movement and allowed us to surf well into the lower end of today’s 0.9mtr low. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy for the 3hrs that we were on the scene. Thewind did start to swing to the South as we packed up but there were still plenty of waves coming through.
Weather wise the cloud did creep back in but there hasn’t been more than a few drops fall through out the day where we have been. Right now at 4.20pm there is still hardly any wind and the temperature is a humid 29C.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 11.7mtr High around 7.37pm
Tomorrow’s surf forecast is calling for very similar conditions as today so if you scored waves today just go back to the same location would be a safe bet.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Bali, the Aussie dollar has had the shit kicked out of it and down to Rp9,355 while the US is higher than the Euro at 15,200.

Breaking News Department. Petrol has jumped 30% in price from the 4th of September so be prepared for slight increases in all prices on just about everything here in Bali. The first of the increases was LPG, our 5kg refills have gone from Rp135K now at 230K for the same fill. 95% of Indonesia runs on gas for cooking so that’s going to hurt everyone.
