Hello everyone and things have been a little hectic the last few days with time spent in our Family mountain side village, terrible weather and to top everything off yesterday a bout of food poisoning. But compared to yesterday I’m doing a lot better.
This morning wave height here on the Outer Reefs of Tuban has been pretty small and only showing in the 1-2ft+ between Kuta reef and Airport left. Usually at this time of the year we mostly see better size waves hitting our East Coast. This morning was no exception with a nice 3-4ft (head to well overhead) breaking on the black sand beach. While I was still trying to clear my head Ketut had grabbed the camera equipment and between rain storms dashed over there and shot today’s photo gallery.
Weather wise it rained heavily most of the early hours of the morning. It did clear away and the sun bust out for a short window. Right now at 1.30pm it’s still a warm 31C with the humidity at 75%. Earlier this morning the wind had a touch of North in it but now has dedicated to the West at around 20km/h
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.2mtr High at 7.16pm.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast has the wave model calling for similar sized size as today and maybe a slight bump. The period is predicted to jump from 11 seconds up to 15 – 16 seconds so that might make for some better waves. Although it is hard to get all the elements to line up. The wind forecast is saying W-WSW wind. I just hope it’s still light and variable for us early.
