Hello everyone and thanks for your patience. As you can imagine no reports pretty much equals no to very ordinary waves on offer. The worst thing we had through the last 7 days was strong crap wind and way too much rain. But with the confidence of a blue sky and almost off shore wind over on the East Coast we had to head over to Keramas for a look.
We arrived just before the top of the tide that was scheduled for 8.16am to find a meaty crowd in the water around 28 surfers. But there were a few clean and glassy waves coming through. We did stop in at “Secrets” for a check beforehand and if there was just a little more swell getting in there that would have been the pick for sure. Wave height at “Secrets was only in the 1-2ft range but the wind was a lot cleaner off shore.
So with not too many options for the conditions dealt we ended up at Keramas. All in all it wasn’t too bad and there was in fact quite a few waves that went through unridden. Surfing conditions stayed clean and tidy until the wind started to swing to the W-WSW at 9.15am.
Weather wise it’s been a regular Bali summers day and even now at 1.50pm we have a hot and humid temp of 32C, humidity is at 72%.
The next tide today will be a 2.0mtr High at 7.41pm
Tomorrows Surf Forecast has the wave models showing a slight drop in wave height before another bump shows on the 3rd into the 4th. Wind wise (I’ll believe it when I feel it) is predicted to be light and variable out of the East / North quadrants early before settling into the SW around mid morning.
