Hello friends of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves for the latest news and views on today’s surfing and weather conditions. Well it’s good to have our man Ketut back with us again, now we can keep the reports and photos flowing through to you guys. Times are still very tough here and we are waiting to see our regular guests / surfers returning to Bali.
These photos were shot at 8.45am as the tide was starting to run back in and the wind was just starting to pick up out of the NNW – NW. The main surfing arena at Canggu is the left hand break know as the “Sandbar”. This morning there was around 40 surfers packed into it and another 15-20 across on the right hand break know as the “River mouth” Conditions as it shows in the photos were still clean enough even though the wind was cross / on shore.
Weather wise this morning we had a light overcast sky but is starting to clear away now at 2.30pm. Shaping up for a hot and sunny Sunday afternoon here on the holiday island. Temperature wise the mercury is sitting on 31C and humidity is at 77%. The wind is now dedicated to the WSW at 5-7knt.
The next tide will be a 0.8mtr Low just after sun set around 7.56pm
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling for a bump in wave height but with the wind predicted to return to the W-WSW with gusts up to 24knt. Hopefully the WSW wind will soon be blowing it self out as we near the end of the cyclone season.

I’ve also thrown in a couple of our tee shirt designs and seeing as though times are getting very hard again (over the next month anyway) we are offering any of our viewers baliwaves exclusive tee shirts for a special price of only AU$12.00 and long sleeves for AU$17.00. Pay now and pick up here in bali anytime this year. Email me for your orders.]
Travel Tip #302. Money part 2, This one is mostly for our Australian brothers and sisters. ATMs in Bali, now being an Aussie your going to go straight to the yellow and black familiar Common wealth bank atms right. WEll just for the record the Indonesian Comm Bank has no connection to the CBA. YOu will get stung with massive transaction fee’s and wait for it, get the lowest possible exchange rate out of all the ATMs on offer in Bali. Through my experience when I was a credit card user I found the CIMB bank or one of the big name banks in Indonesia (BCA, BNI etc) are going to give you the lowest fee’s and the highest exchange rate. It’s your money and we like to see our friends get the best value for their hard earned bucks.
Hot off the press; Our good friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp have an incredible offer for all our baliwaves friends. For a very short time they are offering you “Pay for 3 days and get 3 more days free of charge” 6 days in G-Land for the price of 3 !!! Pay for the 3 days asap and you can use the special offer anytime through 2023 opening times. Contact us today and save some serious US dollars (Offer end March)
