Hey well just to keep baliwaves current I decided to just let go the remaining un published photos we have of the Uluwatu Racetrack. Who knows I might just throw a few of the best images into an up coming report. But lets keep it fresh for now.
Late yesterday afternoon the 15th wave height was looking pretty weak and lack luster on the Outer reefs. But we were hoping for a small bump in size this morning and that’s what we got.
Today’s photo gallery was shot up at the black sand beach of The Gu on the morning in coming tide. Ketut is position and shooting by 7.00am and at the time he reckons conditions were pristine and that’s how it looks to me in these photos. Wave height was an easy 4ft or well over head on the set waves and very consistent. Only a handful of surfers riding the lefts on the sandbar and up to 30 surfers riding the rights in front of the river mouth. The right look pretty much perfect and totally understand why there was 30 surfers on it.
Surfing conditions stayed clean and tidy right through until around 10am. I’d say there would have been a few waves on some East Coast locations early but I don’t think there is as much swell getting in there.
Weather wise today it’s been another clear and warm day here on the holiday island. Right now at 3.40pm the temp is still a tropical 29C, humidity is at 66%. Wind direction is out of the SSE as predicted at 23km/h.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is showing another bump in wave height building through out the day. Light and variable wind early before the E-SE Trade wind kicks in around mid morning.
