Yesterday the 2nd and we were back on Bali’s West coast to see the sun rise at Canggu. The waves were absolutely pumping on all 3 main sections from Echo beach to the right hand river mouth of Pererenan. Some solid 4ft+ set waves with a clean early morning off shore wind on a rising tide and the planets were all lined up, so it seemed. Today’s photos were shot there thanks to our man Ketut. Crowd wise well yeah it was pretty crowded except for “Jimmy’s Rights” and from all reports some very cranky expats or tourists, not sure on the Sand bar and Rivermouth, standard.
Today the 3rd and we were back on the black sand at Keramas and if I said yesterday was good today was way better. 2-4ft consistent waves hitting the rocky reef with a clean early morning off shore wind. Not too mention a tide running in. Crowd wise it peaked around 15-18 surfers and all pretty mellow and talkative. That’s always a bonus in the line up compared to arsehole zombies right. A big shout out to the Keramas local boardriderrs that were in the water this morning for calling me into a couple of good ones.
Weather wise, hot and sunny… Bali
Tomorrow’s surf forecast well we will just have to wait and see but I reckon you can count on some fresh Easterly wind.
