G-Land Surf & Weather Report
8-9th June 2023 Photo’s : Wsouw & harrypieters
Thanks again to our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp for sharing a few photos from the last couple of days at what many core surfers attribute as the best left hander in the Indonesian Archipelago. G-land is a West Coast wave that is dependent on the off shore ESE Trade wind. I’m sure it would have still been cranking over there today as we were still getting some solid waves hitting Bali all day. Tomorrow the 16th and we are getting anxious around these parts with a new swell about to smash into Indonesia out of the Indian Ocean.
We will have to wait and see how it runs, but I can tell you this today’s wave period with 3-5ft waves (head to double head high) today was at 13 seconds. Tomorrow’s wave period jumps from that to 18-20 seconds. So stay tuned or start waxing up your 8 footer. No matter what conditions the Indian Ocean throws at G-Land there is always a wave for all levels of surfing.
If anyone would like to get over there for the essential G-Land experience drop us a line and we can get you over there with a bit of a discount. Just hit us up right here.
