G-Land Surf & Weather Report
7th July 2023

Thanks again to our good friends over at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp for keeping us in the loop with the arrival of some new swells wrapping into G-Land today. I reckon the guys over there at the moment are fully aware of what’s coming and anticipating some long and deep barrels in the near future. With more swell on the way and maybe even a little bigger to boot. By the looks of one of these photos we have been sent there are quite a few surfers made the trip across for this swell.
“This stretch of reef offers waves for all level of surfer all set in the most natural and pristine Indonesian national park in resort style accommodation at Joyos Surf Camp”
If anyone would like to get over there for the essential G-Land experience drop us a line and we can get you over there with a bit of a discount. Just hit us up right here if you want to be on the next boat.
Speed Boat departure dates for Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp for July 2023

Bali
8th July 2023
Wave height here on the Outer Reefs (Bali) has backed off through out the morning but there are still a few waves to be had between Kuta reef and Airports. The wind has been blowing fairly hard straight off shore. We were thinking about heading out to shoot some more photos but the weather has dictated that we shouldn’t bother. More dark overcast conditions with on and off rain most of the morning. Oly now at 1.20pm is there a hint of blue busting through. Lets wait and see what tomorrow brings.
Cheers

Nice pics, but I cannot believe the crowd. I guess that is good for business but not the business of getting hassle free surf or at least surf without the pressure of people next to you. Too many ppl in the world.

Hi Jekka, I’m not trying to sound sarcastic bro but you obviously haven’t been to G-Land 🙂

Hey Mango, yeah the guys over at Joyos surf camp take great photos usually right there at Speed Reef. It’s incredible and so good to see Bali and surrounding surfing area’s back in business again after such hard times. Even more crowded now they are also letting back in the unvacced surfers. Not many world class waves with tropical weather and friendly people are being left alone. Surfing must be the biggest growth sport going these days.
