Yesterday the 22nd our first thing in the morning surf check on the Outer reefs here in South Kuta was not showing anything. Pretty well just breaking on the reef through the morning low tide. It was a nice morning with a big empty beach, hardly anyone hanging out. I also followed suit and spent the next 4-5hrs through our new video clip together, so make sure you watch it ok. I also had confirmation from the East coast of no waves and fresh on shore ESE wind.
This morning the 23rd and we were expecting a bump in wave height so Ketut took a run down to Uluwatu. Not a massive increase in size this morning with a bigger push expected later this afternoon and into tomorrow morning. But there were some nice waves running down the Racetrack and as usual with the low tide and shallow coverage only about 20 surfers in the water spread through the Racetrack section. Wave height this morning as it shows was an easy 2-4ft with a clean ESE wind.
Weather wise it’s been another A typical Bali weather type day with blue sky and a warm midday temp. Right now at 2.40pm it’s still a warm 28C with the humidity at 76%. Wind direction is currently coming out of the ESE at a gusty 28km/h.
The last tide here in Bali that has just passed was a 1.84mtr High at 2.14pm
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is assuring me that wave height will bump up later tonight and still be cranking in the morning here in Bali. The wind is also predicted to be pretty fresh out of the ESE all day.

But with the way the clock is ticking and the predicted swell or not predicted swell on the radar this year could be another no show event.
