Hello Bali people and welcome back to the no nonsense baliwaves daily update. This morning we thought there would be a small bump in wave height size, well going off predicted wave models anyway. It worked out true but only just a small spike. Our 6.30am surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing 1-2ft+ wave breaking between Kuta reef and Airport left. Airport Left being the only option really while the tide was running in.
With a little North in the wind Ketut took a run up to Canggu to hopefully find some better shaped waves. AS it shows in today’s photo gallery wave height was also mainly in the 2ft or waist high class with a couple of head high sets every blue moon. Definitely a good day for the grommets and the young at heart. Or for that matter those with nothing else better to do I guess. Through in another 50% of learners and that’s how the Gu looked this morning.
Surfing conditions were clean and glassy but with the wind coming out of the NW while Ketut was on the scene. At least 40 surfers on the left sand bar and another 25 over on the right and then same again through the middle of the beach. Well Canggu is a party beach orientated holiday destination and with these sort of conditions you would have to expect to the beach as the place to be today.
Weather wise so far today it’s been just hot and sunny, there was a few clouds about early but all gone now at 2.50pm. The temp is a very hot 32C right now and feels like around 38C, humidity is at 65%. The wind is now ESE-SE at 21km/h.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 1.78mtr High at 8.17pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for another slight bump tomorrow morning before again tapering off through the afternoon. Light and variable early before tending to the South by midday.
We have a “cunning plan” for tomorrow and hopefully we will score a few waves so make surf you drop into the baliwaves again tomorrow. Please So stay tuned again for more news and the best views from the World’s No.1 topical surfing holiday destination.
