Well, I reckon wow is one word to describe today’s waves. My go to this morning was bloody big out there and no place for old men. I mean we were expecting some big waves this morning but this was little more than what we loaded up for. A couple of the bigger freak sets this morning had to be at least in the 10-12ft+ range and pretty much all except a couple of rouge sets were peeling off with the aid of a light off shore breeze. There were 17 surfers on my head count and I saw 3 boards snapped and 2 leg ropes snapped. I’d say everyone’s leg ropes were stretched this morning while it was on.
As the tide started to run back in it did seem that wave height was already starting to back off a touch, just a touch though. The monster sets were also becoming fewer and farer between.
Weather wise it’s been another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island. Right now at 3.50pm the temp is still a warm 29C with the humidity at 72%. Wind direction is now coming out of the SSE at 18km/h
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 0.50mtr Low at 6.58pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to drop out a little and keep tapering off through out the day. Wind direction is predicted to be light and variable early before swinging to the ESE and then SE by late afternoon.
