Hello surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves this morning. Today we are coming live from one of our favorite surfing hang outs Dekis Warung at Balian. As per norm we were up and on the road long before the dawn weaving and dodging our way up the busiest, narrowest highway that Bali has. But slow and steady gets you to the destination and we arrived at Dekis around 6.30am.
As it shows in this handful of photos that Mr ketut has shot wave height up here at Balian is in the head to double head high class. The wind on arrival was light but clean off shore out of the North. There was already maybe 15 surfers in the water spread though a big line up with the majority sitting out the back on the A frame. There were also a few surfers sitting on the river mouth rights also know as “Ketuts”.
Right now at 9.00am the Trade wind has already started to clow cross / on shore out of the ESE-SE. the number of surfers in the water has also jumped to around 30.
Weather wise so far today it’s been mostly cloudy and overcast. Temperature wise the mercury is sitting on 28C, humidity is at 84%. Wind direction is ESE at 18km/h
The next tide today in Bali will be a .73mtr Low at 11.53am.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to replicate today but with a slightly better period, jumping from 14 today to 16 seconds tomorrow
