Hello everyone and thanks for turning up to the baliwaves Sunday Session. Firstly here’s a few photos from what I mentioned in yesterdays report from Canggu. As it shows Canggu is pretty good whether it’s 1-2ft+ or 3-5ft (max height). Even when it is small the Sandbar left still delivers some punchy little left and right handers over a sand bottom breaking just 40mtrs out from the shore. Yesterday was one of those days and perfect for the local groms to show off what they got.
Today the 29th and this morning we did see a bump in wave height but the wind did not cooperate and had been on shore on both sides of the island. Well there was an early morning period of some light variable wind but it didn’t last long and is now coming out of the W-WSW. I have had reports in from a some head high waves over on the East Coast and of some chest to slightly over head high surf down on the bukit at Uluwtau. We are going to wait and see what tomorrow brings us.
Weather wise today we have some perfect Sunday style weather happening. It’s been blue sky and super summery conditions so far. Right now at 2.00pm the temp is on 33C and the humidity is low at 70%. Wind direction is coming almost straight out of the West at 12-14km/h.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for some slightly bigger set waves on a period of 15-14 seconds. Early morning light and variable wind out of the Northern quadrant before swinging into the Southern quad by mid morning.
