Hello Bali people and we hope everyone has had a nice Christmas and New years, now fully refreshed and ready to put in a big year surfing ! Since my last update I’ve been through some rough patches with a total of almost 5 weeks in hospital. Only 4 days after my 9hr operation was done and with Dr’s blessings I was allowed to discharge and start some recovery at my Mothers House. After almost 5 weeks in the hospital with Nurses fussing over me and cooks cooking for me it was a shock to the system having to look after myself. The Dr’s gave me the green light but you just never know with Cancer.
Ketut has sent us through a bunch of photos and not too bad considering that there hasn’t been a hell of a lot of swell, just small and fun. Today Ketut messaged me from over at Keramas around 7.45am {Bali time). He said there was some nice “fun sized” waves with a light off shore wind. But there were 5 surfers already in the water.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is not looking that promising but for those prepared to put in some effort there should be rewards to be found.
I’m starting to feel good enough to get back on the lapt top again so hopefully Ketut will get some sick photos for me to load up. Stay well and see you again tomorrow.
Ketut is still taking surfers to find their best Bali waves while I’m caught up in hospital. So drop us a line and you can be cruising with Ketut and all his local surf friends when ever you are ready. God knows my family are going to be down deep in Dr / hospital bills when the smoke clears.
