And just like that.. Great to be back with my family again here in Bali, for now. Such a wild ride it was from the start. For the most of it, but once I made it to Australia and got into the JHH action was taken and things started to improve. It’s a long road and I’m still on it. When I really look back on my journey with cancer it seems surreal and mostly an opiate blurred nightmare.
Back to the present, This morning the 25th and our 5.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in South Kuta was showing a nice bump in wave height. Ketut was saying at least a couple of feet on yesterdays dribble on the reefs, the wind was out of the Northern quad. Ketut didn’t waste much time back at home home before grabbing the camera gear and heading East. Today’s photos were shot on the 22nd, we will be back up to date before you know it.
Wave height where our man is was hitting the reef in the head to double head high range. Surfing conditions clean and glassy with just a light off shore wind out of the North. With the High tide of 2.12mtrs filling in at 11.20am (full moon yesterday) and light wind there should be some nice waves at a few locations around the island this morning.
Weather wise outside this morning we have a mostly blue sky. But looking down towards the South end of the island there are some big fluffy clouds building.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is saying that we will see wave height back off a touch. In fact it’s going to be yo-yoing up a bit and down a bit a bit longer. The wind is forecast to be light and variable early before dedicating to the W-SW mid morning.
