Hello surfers, this is our man Ketut’s handy work from yesterday the 25th. Some really sweet waves were peeling off at Keramas yesterday, take a look for yourself and scroll through the photos. From the 400+ photos and video clips I went through this morning. it looks to me like the grommet from Volcom was dominating and tearing everything he caught to bits. Nice to see the sun out through the morning before the rain started.
Today the 26th and it rained most of the night and was still a bit blowy and wet at 5.30am when I poked my head out the back door at home. The rain did back off long enough for a quick run down for a surf check. Wave height has bumped here on the West Coast a little and I imagine dropped a touch over on the East Coast.
Ketut wanted to go shoot some more photos but I pulled him back as it really is a shitty day here weather wise. Right now at 1.20pm the sky is dark and it’s been raining on and off all day. Currently a warm 29C all the same with humidity at 77%. Wind direction (as mentioned yesterday) was light and variable early before dedicating to the W-WSW currently 15-25km/h.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 3.2mtr Low at 17:44
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast has wave height similar to today with lighter wind. light variable NW-WNW early turning SW-S around midday. Looks to be some nice swell returning to Bali / Indo first week of March.
If you are here in Bali ATM then things are going to slow down for you with the approach of the Balinese Hindu Galungan on the 28th of this month. Small Businesses will start to shut down tomorrow with Balinese heading off back to their Family homes for this special occasion. Be careful if you are on the road and maybe even allow a little extra time to go anywhere. It’s also a very soothing and visual time of obvious Balinese Culture.
