G’Day surfers and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves, we appreciate you big time. This morning the 29th and with wave height all but flat we only had the one real option for a wave. So it was on the road at 5.45am for a lazy drive up the West Coast Highway to Balian.
We pulled into the car park at Dekis Warung to find some super clean 2-4 footers breaking out on the A Frame peak and a few sneaky inside runners as well. The tide was just coming off the bottom of a dry Low tide and is now running back in for a 2.58mtr High at 12.34pm. There were already 2 surfers in the water so our Team pushed the numbers up to 5. That was at 6.00am, now at 8.55am there is a total of 12 surfers out there having a blast.
Weather wise there was a lot of cloud about earlier and now mostly clear and sunny. Early we had a light off shore Northerly wing. But in true Dry Season fashion the wind is just starting to puff up out of the EESE. Current temp is 31C, humidity is at 78%.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast, Well more conflicting data again from the wave models, some saying swell arriving tomorrow and some say the day after.. Better just tune in here and we will give you the gospel.
Ok then we are going to hang out up here for a bit longer then cruise back down South around 10.30am. Maybe get some roadside sate at our favorite warung onn the way. Have a good one friends and keep an eye on the bailwaves if you want to know what’s really going on here in Bali.
