Hello everyone, and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves again today for the latest views and honest news on today’s surfing conditions. Right, well it’s great to be here and slowly getting back out into the real World (well my real World anyway). It would be a lot better if was already back in the water. I’ll just have to be a little more patient I guess.
This morning we got off to a later than usual start waiting for a friend to call around and come along for the ride. So it wasn’t until around 6.50am that we pulled into “The Gu” carpark. First view was of a clean off shore wind swept clean ocean with 2-4 footers. The line up was still pretty sparse of surfers on the Sandbar while the Echo beach reef had maybe 15 surfers on it. The tide was running out so the right hander on the Pererenan rivermouth was a bit shallow and bumpy. There was still 5 surfers on it.
Surfing conditions were clean and smooth before the wind started to shift and dedicate to the West around 9.00am.
Weather wise today we had some light rain early before clearing up for a hot and humid day. Right now at 4.50pm the temp is 30C, humidity at 80%. The wind is West at 8km/h
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to back off through out tomorrow. The wave period of 14 seconds confirms dropping to 12 seconds tomorrow. The wind should be light and variable early before tending WSW-SSW around midday.
Ok my friends it’s been another long day for me and time to put the feet up. Thanks again for your support, I thought the pandemic lock down was the worst thing ever to happen. I was so wrong, talk to ya’s tomorrow.
