Hello folks and welcome back to your baliwaves for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination. Yesterday the 27th and our Team was up on the beach at Canggu to check all the action. Ketut was on the scene at 7.00am and said there were some nice chest to over head high waves breaking from Echo Reef through to the Pererenan river mouth.
At the time the wind was light off shore out of the North and the tide running. There were quite a few surfers spread through the different breaks. Ketut hung out till 9.00am when the wind shifted to the West. He was also thinking it was time to get going and beat the daily traffic that is Canggu.
Today the 28th and our Team has taken a lazy pre dawn drive up the coast and are currently surfing some super clean and glassy head to over head left and rights. I did post a photo off my phone onto our baliwaves facebook page earlier.
Weather wise Ketut was calling light early morning cloud cover where he is. Temperature wise in Kuta it’s currently 27C with the humidity on 96% at 7.27am. (it’s currently 15C where I am at 9.27am)
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.50mtr High at 12.38pm then draining out to 0.19mtr Low at 7.17pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is predicting to see wave height bump up along with a period growing from 16 seconds up to 18-19 seconds. It’s also looking like we could have a fresh ESE-SE off shore Tradewind on it.
Alright then we hope you are having and awesome weekend where you are and look forward to catching up in Bali later this season. Stay tuned as I’m sure Ketut will have a whole bunch of photos for uus again tomorrow.
BTW, Ketut is still taking surfers to find their best Bali waves while I’m caught up in Australia. So email us and you can be cruising with Ketut and all his local surf friends when ever you are ready. God knows my family are going to be down deep in Dr / hospital bills when the smoke clears.
