G’day Bali surfers and thanks for dropping in to the baliwaves. Our current photo gallery was shot yesterday the 7th, for the run down check yesterdays surf and weather report. Today the 8th and Ketut phoned through early this morning to say there wasn’t much breaking on the Outer reefs of Tuban. It was small enough he reckoned to take a day off and leave the baby waves to learners, as it should be.
Weather wise there was some cloud about early but Ketut is calling another hot one on the way. Currently at 9.12am the temperature is on 28C, humidity is at 88%. The wind had a little bit of North in it early but is predicted to dedicate to the SE-ESE.
The next tide in Bali today will be a 2.50mtr High at 10.02am then running all the way out to a 0.10mtr Low around 4.34pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast isn’t showing a lot of hope, but there will be a few smallies about if you want to make an effort. Should be a bump on Friday and further out the Indian Ocean is showing some nice patterns brewing and heading towards Indo.
Just something I read on a surf charter forum this morning was of a surfer who couldn’t believe that his first day on board at their first surf location had 8 other boats already on it. That’s just the boats there are also resorts, homestays and bangalows all dotted along the front of most half decent breaks. I think the surfers that say Bali is too crowded don’t surf early mornings maybe
Ok guys that’s about all I can do for you today, Ketut should be back with some more news for us by tomorrow. So have an awesome day and start getting ready for Indo 2024.
BTW, Ketut is still taking surfers to find their best Bali waves while I’m caught up in Australia. So EMAIL us a line and you can be cruising with Ketut and all his local surf friends when ever you are ready. God knows my family are going to be down deep in Dr / hospital bills when the smoke clears.
