Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter! I’ve been camping up the Mid-north NSW coast and managed to get the tail end of the big swell that hit Australia, found myself a nice point break that was kind of holding it – but did a lot of paddling.
Meanwhile Ketut and crew have been finding some great waves around Bali. These shots are from the 21st and 22nd. On the 21st the crew went to the East Coast and scored some really nice 4ft conditions from 7am to 10am with only a crew of 15 or so enjoying the sunny offshore waves. Then on the 21st, they made their way up to Canggu and where it was a bit smaller at 2-3ft but offshore as always and not too many in the water!
It’s now just after 9:00am in Bali and the temp is 26 degrees, humidity is at 77% and there is no wind! So should be glassy conditions. We’ve gone past the 8:02am high tide of 1.8m, next up is the 1:48pm low of 1.1m before an evening high of 2.0m at 7:56pm. Tomorrow we have a morning high of 2.1m at 8:38am, a low of 0.8m at 2:36pm, followed by the second high of the day at 8:50pm of 2.1m.
The surf forecast is showing the similar conditions to now for the next week or so, the waves will bounce up and down a little in size, but go looking and you’ll find some fun waves.
If you are heading over don’t forget to drop us a line about surf trips or accommodation! Ketut has been scooting a few guests around to the pick of the spots :)
