The East Coast was alive this morning and Keramas was absolutely firing. Waves were a clean 5 foot and pumping, with offshore winds grooming the sets into long walls and some thick barrels. Ketut was on the scene from 6AM through to 11AM, and reckons it was one of the better mornings we’ve had this season.
With around 30 surfers in the line up, there was no shortage of action, and a fair bit of jostling too, but plenty of waves to go around. Weather held up nicely with a bit of sun peeking through early cloud. Proper Indo vibes.
It’s a balmy one this evening in Bali, currently sitting at 31°C and feeling more like 38°C. The wind is light from the south at 4 km/h, with partly cloudy skies turning mostly clear as the night rolls in.
As for the tides, here’s what’s coming: there’s a high tide at 8:15PM tonight at 1.9 metres. Tomorrow starts with a high tide at 8:21AM at 2.4 metres, then a low tide at 2:55PM down to 0.4 metres, followed by another high tide at 9:08PM, again reaching 1.9 metres.
For the surf forecast, that solid SSW pulse has definitely filled in. Uluwatu’s seeing similar conditions with the main swell around 1.9m at 16s, and a second pulse lining up through Sunday. The wind’s set to stay mostly light or glassy through the mornings, turning a little cross-off or variable in the afternoons. Should hold steady in the head-high to overhead range into early next week, especially for east-facing spots.
If you are heading over don’t forget to drop us a line about surf trips or accommodation! Ketut has been scooting a few guests around to the pick of the spots :)
