4th August 2025
Conditions lined up beautifully yesterday at Balangan with clean 3 to 5 foot sets rolling through. Offshore wind was keeping it tidy from early, and it stayed that way through until at least lunchtime. Only a handful of surfers were in the water by 10am, a quiet crowd enjoying sunny skies and fun walls. All up, a mellow day with classic Bukit charm and plenty of rideable waves on offer.
Weather & Tides
As of 5:45pm in Bali today, temperature is sitting at 29°C with scattered clouds and a southeast wind blowing at 15 km/h. It feels warmer than the numbers suggest, clocking in at around 32°C on the skin.
Looking at the tides, this evening we’ve got a high tide peaking at 9:16pm at 1.2 metres. Then tomorrow (Wednesday 6 August), we’ll see a high tide at 7:47am (1.8 metres), followed by a low at 3:09pm (0.5 metres).
Surf Forecast
What a swell forecast we have, today saw wave heights around 3.5 metres with a long 19 second period, solid energy from the SSW. That energy continues into tomorrow with waves holding around 3m in the morning and 2.4m into the afternoon.
Winds remain favourable through the week, with light to moderate offshore flow from the ESE. Thursday and Friday dip a little in size but stay clean, and then it looks like another good bump into early next week. If you’re eyeing the Bukit or Uluwatu, conditions are looking prime.
