17th-19th October 2025
Friday and Saturday (17th-18th) saw the East Coast in fine form, with 2-3ft waves and perfectly lined-up conditions through the morning. High tide filled in early, but the dropping tide mid-morning offered the best shape with offshore winds holding steady until around 10am. A handful of locals and early risers shared the lineup, making for mellow sessions under bright sunny skies.
By Sunday the 19th, Canggu took the spotlight with fun 3-4ft waves rolling through the sandbar and river peaks. The wind stayed offshore and light, giving glassy conditions for a few solid hours. Around 20 surfers were out in front of the river, another 15 at Sandbar, and a few more scattered along Echo Beach. Local surfer Made Dera was among those putting on a show, carving through some clean right-hand walls.
Traffic was light, the weather stayed warm, and overall it was a perfect weekend of surf right across the island.
Weather & Tides
Right now in Bali it’s sitting around 27°C before sunrise with passing clouds and humidity hovering around 87%. Winds are light, shifting from northwest early, then swinging southeast by late morning as the day warms up.
For the tides, Monday morning (20th October) sees a high tide at 9:48am reaching 2.0m, followed by a low tide around 3:37pm at 0.4m. Another evening high will fill in at 9:49pm around 2.3m.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead, the swell forecast shows the swell is easing slightly into Monday. Light winds and warm weather should continue through midweek, a small new pulse forecast for Tuesday but generally a small surf week. Rain showers are expected later in the week, but mornings should stay clear and glassy.
