17th November 2025
A fun morning in Canggu on Monday with around 4ft of clean surf rolling through on the early high tide. Conditions were cloudy but warm, with the offshore wind holding nicely throughout the morning and keeping the faces tidy. The sandbanks in front of the river had the best shape, drawing in the sets well, while Sandbar had smaller lines with about 10 surfers picking off the cleaner ones as the tide began to drop.
The crowd was pretty standard for a Monday, with roughly 20 surfers out at the river peak and a handful along the bank toward Echo direction, a solid crew of locals and visitors enjoying the good morning session.
The highlight was the glassy faces with plenty of long walls, and just enough size to keep things interesting.
Weather & Tides
Overcast this evening in Bali with a current temperature of 29°C and a light southerly wind. Humidity sits around 66 percent and scattered rain showers are expected through the night.
Tomorrow’s tides look favourable for the morning session, with a 10:31 AM high tide at 1.8 metres, followed by a 3:46 PM low tide at 0.7 metres. Expect the mid-morning to offer the best shape for Canggu’s banks.
Surf Forecast
The swell forecast shows tomorrow will have small but clean SSW swell with light SSE winds early. Offshore for Canggu. Expect tidy, fun waves on the mid-morning tide. Friday, the swell dips slightly but still with early offshore winds. Conditions clean but weaker through the day. Light showers possible.
Moving into the weekend, a slight increase in energy from the SW with swell lifting a little. Morning SSE winds should keep it clean. Good potential for fun lines on the higher tide.
