Ketut checked in from Kuta Reef on Saturday morning and it was another beautiful Bali setup with 3-4ft waves and clean offshore wind from first light. The morning stayed glassy and smooth right through until midmorning, with not too many surfers out early taking advantage of the good conditions.
The reef was breaking nicely across the inside sections, producing some fast but makeable walls on the better sets. The crowds were surprisingly light for a weekend, giving everyone plenty of room to move.
Overall, it was one of those classic Kuta mornings, light winds, smooth water, and fun and consistent surf.
