Canggu Surf Report – Thursday 2nd April 2026
Ketut was down at Canggu early this morning and found it in decent shape for a Thursday. Waves were in that 3ft range with a light offshore keeping things nice and clean through the session. It was a busy one out there, one of those mornings where the lineup fills in quickly and you’ve got to stay active to get your share.
The session ran on a rising tide which helped smooth things out and keep the shape consistent. Conditions didn’t change much through the morning, just clean faces and a steady flow of waves. The crowd kept building as it warmed up but there were still plenty of opportunities if you kept moving and stayed patient.
Not an all time day, but one of those clean, cruisy mornings that’s well worth getting out there for.
Weather & Tides
Right now it’s sitting around 26C with light offshore winds and clear conditions, making for a pretty comfortable day around the beach. The high tide came through at 11:00am at around 1.1m, covering the reef nicely through the main part of the session. The next low is due at 5:13pm this afternoon before the tide starts pushing back in again into the evening.
Surf Forecast
Looking at the surf forecast ahead there’s still a bit to work with over the next few days. Friday should hold a touch more size around that 3 to 4ft mark before easing back slightly into the weekend. There’s enough period in the swell to keep some shape in it, so the early sessions will be the go before the wind starts to creep in later in the day.
