Keramas Surf Report – Thursday 30th April 2026
Ketut was over at Keramas this morning and found the swell up and delivering. Waves were running in the 3 to 5ft range with a light offshore keeping the faces clean, though the water was murky from all the rain. Around 20 surfers were in the lineup by 9am, a reasonable crowd for the size on offer at a break that fills up fast when the swell is showing.
It was a grey, overcast session from start to finish with cloud and rain through most of the morning. The murky water was the main drawback, a side effect of the wet weather overnight and through the session. The offshore held its ground regardless and the swell kept arriving with a solid 14-second period behind it, giving the waves good shape on the reef. Sets pushed to the upper end of that 5ft range at times and with the tide filling in the reef was breaking well through the mid-morning, making it a worthwhile session despite the conditions.
Weather & Tides
Right now it is sitting around 24C out there with overcast skies and the rain from this morning still hanging about. On the tides, there is a small high tonight at around 9:55pm (0.5m), with the next proper high arriving Friday morning around 9:56am at just over 1m, which should set up nicely for the dawn patrol at Keramas.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead, the swell looks to hold well through Friday and into the weekend, staying in that 4 to 5ft range before gradually easing back as we move into next week.
