Keramas Surf Report – Friday 6th November 2026
Ketut was on the scene at Keramas on Friday and reported wave height sitting around 3 foot, with sets lining up across the reef and plenty of waves getting through. A light offshore was blowing, which kept the faces clean and tidy, and it was sunny for the whole check. Ketut said it was a good day to be out there, nothing too major on the size front but the kind of conditions that make Keramas worth the drive.
With only around 15 surfers out the crowd stayed manageable, and surfers were spread across the peak rather than all sitting on top of each other. The swell behind it has a long period, so the sets were coming through with a bit more push than the size suggests, and there were decent gaps between them for paddling back out. Ketut mentioned the offshore held light through his check, so the surface stayed clean and there was no sign of the wind turning. For a 3 foot day with sunshine and a small crowd, it was a good result and well worth a look for anyone already over on the East Coast.
Weather & Tides
Right now it’s sitting around 26C with sunny skies and light winds about, warm and humid like you would expect this time of year as the wet season gets going. On the tides, the current pattern has a low around 3:30am and a smaller high around 9:45am, then the water drains back out to a low around 3pm before the bigger evening high pushes in around 9:30pm. That morning high is only a small one, so there should be enough water over the reef for the early surf, but it will get shallower as it drains into the afternoon.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead, the swell is easing back a little from here. Sunday should still have 2 foot waves from the southwest with light southwest winds early, and Monday looks to hold around 2 foot with light westerly winds first thing. Tuesday and Wednesday drop to 1 to 2 foot as the period shortens, so nothing too major, before Thursday comes back to around 2 foot with light easterly winds early. That easterly on Thursday can bump up the surface at Keramas, so the earlier days are the better call. Early mornings will be cleanest before the local wind builds, and you can check the swell forecast for the full picture.
