MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello reef riders and welcome back to the baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report machine. Yesterday shortly after I typed up the morning news on wave height etc etc the new swell fully kicked in and wave height jumped into the 4-6ft range between Kuta Reef and Airports . This morning when I went down for a surf check at 7.00am wave height is still pumping through at 3-5ft++ on the Outer Reefs . The tide was too low for Kuta Reef and Airports , heading for a 0.4mtr Low around 8.00am. Middle Reef , even though it is better suited to the lower end of the tide was also pretty messed up. Earlier the wind was coming outta the NW @ 2-3knot and on-shore, but before too long it should be swinging back around to the ESE-SE off-shore sector. Then we should be seeing some good waves peeling through on Kuta Reef. The next High Tide will be 1.8mtr’s , and that’ll happen around 2.00pm. So the scene is set for another good day of surfing around this part of the island. Weather wise we had some rain falling through the early hours of the morning. But the only sign there was of that was a still slightly wet road, now there’s nothing but blue sky and sunshine. I’ve got some photos from yesterdays action out at Kuta Reef to load up for ya’s shortly. Plus I also managed to throw together a new video clip from Uluwatu onto the baliwaves, so check that out while your waiting for the new photos. Hey and do us a favor and buy a baliwaves.com T-SHIRT and help us to keep running this stuff, I don’t think many of you really know how much time, effort and money we put into the running of baliwaves.com . You can find the link over on the right hand side of this page in the MENUE . I tell ya’s what I’ll give the first 50 surfers AU$10.00 off the price but you’ll have to email us first ok ! Before I go I gotta say a big Hello to all the surfers that have been calling into the Dewi Sri Live Seafood Restaurant here in Tuban over the last couple of weeks. So if your around these parts make sure ya drop by between 7.00-9.00pm and say hello.
