**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hello friends and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves.com for the run down of surfing and weather conditions around Bali today . Well today was no different today for me and I was down at the beach for my mandatory surf check of the Outer Reefs here in good old Tuban. No change at along Bali’s West Coast as far as surfing conditions went. Wave height was a lowly 1-2ft of wind blown muck between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . Needless to say the wind was blowing hard on-shore outta the West @ 10-12knot.
So I took the boys staying here at Home Base for a joy ride back over to Serangan to see what was going down on Bali’s East Coast . We left with low expectations and were surprised to find some fun sized waves coming through at a consistent 2-3ft , and breaking both left and right. The tide was just starting to push back in from the reef exposing early morning Low and the wind hitting the waves straight off-shore . But, todays crowd more than tripled yesterdays number with somewhere around 120 surfers scattered over the 4 different sections on offer. I also better thank our friend Scott Thompson for taking these current photos for us.
Weather wise , well today it’s been pretty well rain free so far. But it’d be a safe bet to expect some at some stage later tonight. Temperature wise the mercury woulda been sitting around 27-29 degree’s Celsius, while the humidity level in the 90% range.
Well Thanks to all the kind hearted folks that have helped us improve the conditions up at the Datah Primary School ! We are making some real progress with the objectives we made, so make sure you check out our progress at the school via the “SCHOOL PROJECT” page over on the menue bar .
