Today was spent at the beach, I was there at 530am and didn’t leave till around 2pm. I went for a surf straight up and there was some really nice waves coming through. It felt a little bigger than the last few days and to date was the cleanest and best conditions I have seen since I got back back here to the Gold Coast. I picked up a couple but the dreaded crowd factor meant I did not get one wave to myself. This was a week day and must be the only down side to the world class waves that are on offer here. As it seemed to be the story of my session I headed in and got the camera gear. I took a few photos but the tide was pushing in still and so the waves were just getting fatter. I decieded to chill for a few hours and then try again. As the tide began to drop the waves started to peel off and go a little rounder. The wind was stronger by then so conditions were not as clean but still pretty good. There was a number of pro’s surfing and getting waves in as preparation for the first WCT event of the year. Parko was one as you can see in photos one and two. Ok well things have been pretty good this week so I hope that it continues a little longer. Till next time!
