**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello crew and thanks for dropping in for the baliwaves.com SUNDAY SESSION and your daily fix of Bali surf and weather info . And everything is looking good out there for another wave filled day here in Bali.
My 7.00am surf recon of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing a solid 2-4ft swell breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . The wind was coming outta the NNE @ 2-5knot and will turn more to the ESE and cleaner off-shore as the morning gets going. The tide is currently on the way down for a 1.0mtr Low set for around 9.00am and then is going to be filling back in for a 1.9mtr High around 3.30pm.
Kuta Reef had a few 2-3ft+ waves peeling off and should be ridable all day with the smallish tide range we have today. Middle Reef was still producing some power and also peeling off left handers in the head to well over head high class. Airport left also in the 2-3ft+ range and like Kuta reef will be surfable all day.
I also had some surf info from Craig Callahan who has been surfing around the island the last couple of weeks. Craig surfed up at Keramas yesterday morning and reckoned it was absolutely cranking through perfect right handers in the 4-6ft range. Craig also mentioned that local well know ripster Wayan “Betet” was blowing everyone away in the solid conditions. So I’d be thinking that today would be pretty much like yesterday and you would be able to find some perfect waves all over the island . That of course is if you were lucky enough to he here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
Weather wise on the baliwaves.com 0-10 weather scale she’s good for another 7.5-10. More blue sky through the morning and midday period but the possibility of some afternoon cloud and maybe even a spot of rain or two.
Ok now don’t forget that Scotto has been sending in his READER REPORTS from the North Coast of New South Wales and the Southern Queensland area’s of Australia. And pretty soon we’ll have more reports and photos coming to ya’s from the KANDUI SURF RESORT up in the Mentawai Island chain . So stay tuned to the baliwaves or ya won’t have a clue whats going on.

Another thing I couldn’t help but notice while I was on the beach, was the increased amount of beach front damage that’s happened at the Pantai Restaurant / Ma Jolley and Bali Bintang Ramada Hotels . You can see the photos I took of the destruction in the KUTA CAM GALLERY .
