**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hi surfers and thanks for stopping by for the run down on todays surfing and weather conditions here in Bali . Well I’m still outta action with my trick back, day 3 of watching Indo Tv and I think I’m starting to go insane . But wave height has increased today so at least everyone else got to go surfing.
I couldn’t get down to the beach, or even sit on my motor bike for that matter, but Scott came around to rub some salt in my suffering and tell me that wave height was coming through in the 2-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . No photos unfortunately (Scotts words) because he was out there surfing at Kuta Reef. But Scotto has promised us some New Photos for tomorrows Sunday Session here on the baliwaves.com.
The first of our tides today was a 0.2mtr low @ 7.00am and then we had a 2.3mtr High @ 1.00pm . Wind direction was coming cleanly of-shore outta the ESE @ 4-8knot. Scott said there were only 10 surfers in the water when he jumped outta the boat at Kuta Reef with wave height coming through in the head high range. But by the time he got back in the boat the number of surfers in the line up had grown to 30. But there were plenty of waves and they were peeling off perfectly for up 100yrds. Middle Reef was pushing a few feet over head on the set waves and there was around another dozen or so surfers getting into them. Furth er down the line at Airport Lefts Scott couldn’t get a fix on the number of surfers out there but reckoned there was least half a dozen reef taxis parked in the channel.
Weather wise today we had a mostly sunny day with the odd cloud cruising past, tempe rature wis e another 30 degree Celsius day.
Swell Forecast ; So far so good with a slight boost in wave height today that should show even a little bit more size for tomorrow. Then we will have a fading swell through till around Thursday when, if things go right we should start to see a solid swell coming outta the SW that should produce some World class surf through out Indonesia.
