BALI / INDONESIA
14th May 2016
Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you in contact with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Right so with this mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban only showing 1-1ft+ of wave height height between Kuta Reef and Airport left. Surfing conditions were clean with the wind light outta the ENE and the tide still running out.
So we knew what we had to do to get a wave in today, and that was to hit the road down to Uluwatu. We hung out for awhile and waited for the tide to bottom out, hoping for a little push with the in coming. Wave height on arrival was also only in the 2ft class or chest high, with the wind now coming hard straight off shore outta the East. But before long there were some head high sets and then all though be few and far between we started to see a couple of 3-4ft set waves. I hope it keeps picking up for tomorrow as we have another road trip planned. Even though wave height was small there were still white guys / tourists wanting to fight over the meager booty. Better they go back to their local and be tough guys me thinks.
Driving home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s there was barely a ripple breaking on either break.
But we know that’s going to be changing real soon with the first real swell in transit to Indonesia right now. We should start to see some of it arriving through out tomorrow and then peaking on Monday. Hopefully Padang Padang will be rocking, so hold onto ya hats and get ready cause we’ll be out there somewhere amoungst it. Make sure your tuned into the original Bali surf report for up dates and info ok.
Weather wise today it’s been super hot with non stop sun shine. Right now at 5.00PM the outside temperature is still on 33 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 79%. Winf is coming outta the ESE @ 10 – 15knot.

Ok crew have a good one and I’ll catch ya’s again tomorrow, oh yeah I have also loaded a new surf report and photos from our friends up in the Mentawai Islands. Plus I might even load up a new fishing report and photos seeing as though the fishing scene here in Bali has been smoking hot.
