****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Good morning to all the Bali troopers tuning into our baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report today !
Well things aren’t looking too good out there this morning folks. I went down for a 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban and wave height is only just showing in the 1-1ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And the 0.2mtr Low tide that occurred at 6.00am wasn’t helping the cause either. So needless to say when the tide fills back in for a solid 2.4mtr High around midday it’ll be all but flat out there.
Wind direction was coming outta the ESE-SE @ 5-8knot and straight off-shore between Kuta and Uluwatu.
Looking for a wave today you might be able to find a few micro beach breaks up along the Kuta to Legian stretch of sand. But the best chance to find something half decent will be down on the southern end of the island at Uluwatu. Ulu should have some waist to head high waves as the tide pushes in.
Weather wise today we have a good one coming on for the holiday crew here in Bali. Nothing but blue sky and sunshine and we can expect a top temperature of around 31 degree’s on the beach.
Swell Forecast ; (3rd -10th) Lets just hope the forecasters have got it wrong. Currently the charts are calling for small to micro sized waves for the remainder of this week. Then sometime around Sunday things will be getting back to normal for Bali with a moderate swell arriving. It’s also looking good for another swell behind that one. So all in all, not much happening for rest of this week but next week it will be on everywhere !
